The #WeAreSFSD team had an outstanding showing at this year’s Geography Bowl at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside, winning 10 out of 13 matches and earning an impressive second place overall! With a total of 1,310 points scored throughout the day, their knowledge, teamwork, and determination truly stood out.

The #WeAreSFSD High School Concert Choir sang the National Anthem, My Country 'Tis of Thee, and America the Beautiful at the St. Francis Memorial Day Ceremony. This yearly performance is an act of community service through music, and community members were extremely appreciative, as always, of the time and preparation students gave to this event. ❤️🇺🇸
Two school records fell at the #WeAreSFSD Mariner track invitational on Monday.
The boys' 4x200 relay team of Del Aguila, Ball, Bolden, and Covi ran 1:34.00, breaking last year's record-setting performance of 1:34.13. Emma Lingongo set a new record in the girls' 400m dash, breaking a record in 1:01.13 that had stood since 1988, set by Lauren Knitowski at 1:01.4.

Head Coach: Lance Marifke -
Coach Marifke has been a high school head coach since 2005 with stints at Racine Prairie, St.Francis and South Milwaukee. He returns to St.Francis to lead the program into the future. Coach Marifke brings extensive experience developing players and teams having sent many players to play in college. Coach Marifke played basketball at Viterbo College.
Varsity Assistant Coach: Mike Szydlowski -
Coach Szydlowski retired from 30 years of coaching on the girls side and then accepted the position as the boy's varsity assistant. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to help Coach Marifke take this program to the next level. Coach Syd is in the Cardinal Stritch basketball hall of fame.

Coach Tucker comes to St.Francis after serving as an assistant coach for the Brown Deer girls basketball program. Coach Tucker has 18 years of experience coaching both boys' and girls' high school basketball.
Varsity Assistant Coach: Rachel Story -
Coach Story comes to St.Francis after coaching girls basketball at Milwaukee Marshall. She was a highly recruited player from Milwaukee King, signing and playing with Louisville for two years before transferring to the University of Illinois Chicago.
Mariner Softball knocked it out of the park on Senior Night! 🥎 With a 14–1 victory over St. Augustine, it was the perfect way to celebrate our incredible #WeAreSFSD seniors and their lasting impact on the team.
